Make Your Board & Climb In It
Made in 48 hours for LudumDare 56.
How to Play
- Use the arrow keys and spacebar to place board components.
- When you run out, it's time to climb! Move from dot to dot with the arrow keys, and perform special moves with the spacebar.
- Put "wire sap" on every edge of the board components to clear the day and score your points.
- There is no set ending, so just play as long as you'd like! Maybe go for a really big score, or see how high you can go?
More Info
Deep within the forest, somewhere altogether very, very, very far away, lives an entire little world of friendly creatures who descended from bugs. These creatures live in peace and have developed technology that works alongside nature, while softening its harsher parts. In this game, you play as a strange creature that is sort of like a cross between a millipede, a spider, a cricket, a weevil... Anyway, she is helping to build something like "circuit boards" by assembling components and laying down "wire sap" to both glue them together, and to allow something like "electricity" to travel across the "board". Oh, and some components present hazards which will force you to stop work for a bit if you hit them, so keep an eye out. Good luck!
PS: This game is a spinoff of/sequel to my LudumDare 42 entry Grid Weaver.
